CRIMINAL DEFENCE &
IMMIGRATION LAW

Akada James

Akada James practices criminal defence and immigration law.

Akada is a graduate of Windsor Law. She developed her passion and desire for client focused advocacy as a student at Legal Assistance of Windsor. She believes in securing the rights of her clients, and she regularly advocates for her clients at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada. At the Federal Court, Akada has successfully stood in the way of the federal government’s imminent deportation orders.

When an individual is faced with the weight of the criminal justice system or is navigating uncertainties related to their immigration status, these processes can be overwhelming, and they are often an individual’s first encounter with the complex mechanisms of the legal system. Akada is able to provide meaningful and impactful services to her clients by specializing in these areas.

Akada accepts clients throughout Ontario.
